We at Galileo Academy take pride in our extensive athletics program. A team or individual sport is available for every student. Please note that students must try out for some teams. In order to participate on any team a student must:

●Currently enrolled in at least 20 semester periods of work

●Earned at least a 2.0 from at least 20 semester periods of work their last marking period

●Have a completed, signed and cleared Blue Form (may be picked up in the Athletic Department, or go to http://www.cifsf.org/forms.html to download a copy) which contains:

○Consent Form

○Pre-participation Form

○Physical Form

○Have completed, signed and cleared Voluntary Activity Participation Form

 

Attendance is monitored and a student may be suspended from the team for failure to make progress in classes or for continued poor attendance. Special tutoring is available for scholar-athletes.
